That's when you'll see the difference, I believe. Goes without saying but +rep For the hyper-boost button, I think you need to check the voltage reading using a multi meter to compare to the one without the black button being depressed. Lastly, as for XTP, I'll shoot a PM to Fisher. At 100% fan speed it goes up and down randomly. Galaxy Xtreme Tuner PlusĪnyone else have a 980Ti HOF with these issues or is it just me? I'd really rather not RMA the card, 76.4% ASIC has me drooling for later when I push the card 2.

Xtreme Tuner Plus: Does this software actually work? Granted I'm on Windows 10 so there's a good chance it's incompatible and Afterburner is the way to go but I'd like to try the Galax alternative for science. Afterburner shows no deviation for fan speed percentage but it shows the tach ramping up and down. Fan speed: Fans ramp up randomly for a second or so for no good reason. This scares me mostly as it would scream to be a GPU issue, not an OS issue. The button whether on or off does absolutely nothing. Hyperboost: By my understanding an auto-OC button that ramps fan speed to 100 and gives a slight OC.

All of this is under Windows 10, driver 353.62, BIOS Version: 84.00.36.00.46 (As said by GPU-Z), V5484 within BIOS Tweaker 1. Originally Posted by Munkypoo7 Hey guys, so. For Hyperboost, I tried power cycling and no difference. Xtreme Tuner plus is not compatible with Win 10, try and reach out to our Galaxy rep - Galax (Fisher) and ask if they have anything ready for Win 10. Galaxy releases a software that allows users to flash BIOS, change the fan speed as well as overclock the core, shader and memory clocks.

For those GALAX user, GALAX Xtreme Tuner Plus added support for Windows 10 and GTX 950 series cards. The latest version of the Galaxy Xtreme Tuner has been available now for a few weeks and I'd love to here from anyone who's given the software a go. In your case afterburner should be able to set a fan curve which your card will follow.

Fan speed should be controlled by whatever software you choose. Originally Posted by markthaddeus 1.This post - mentions that the hyper-boost button is actually the new bios switch and you're supposed to activate it before booting the PC.
